Betty MacDonald's very witty and charming niece Alison S. Beck, daughter of Betty MacDonald's sister Alison Bard Burnett and sister of Betty MacDonald fan club honor member Darsie Beck passed away shortly before her 66 th birthday.

The two Alison had been interviewed by Betty MacDonald fan club founder Wolfgang Hampel.
