i enjoy Betty MacDonald fan club letter collection very much.

After rereading Betty MacDonald's Onions in the Stew and some of her very funny letters decribing her life on Vashon Island i can imagine to live on Island for example on Vashon Island.

Why not living on an Island?

Of course you need the ferry to go to Seattle.

I'd say living on an island is ideal for people who don't have to go to work every day.

Betty MacDonald and other members of her family obviously enjoyed life on Vashon Island.

There are snakes in the paradise but you can find them everywhere.....
