we love Betty MacDonald's very witty books but we can't understand why Betty MacDonald hated chickens.

My brothers, sisters and I grew up with chickens because our beloved grandmother owned chickens.
It was a wonderful childhood because chickens are great.

My older brother has chickens and my daughters and I love them so much.

Chickens are wonderful creatures and the most successful birds in the world.

We have to go now because my daughters and I visit my brother to feed the chickens.
