Betty MacDonald's boss

Tomasz:

Hi Anita and Eartha Kitt II,

it's fascinating to hear about your new Betty MacDonald projects.

I'll contribute a letter written by Betty MacDonald.
Betty describes in detail her relationship with her pets.

My english friend shared this Betty MacDonald letter with me. She gave me the permission to share it with Betty MacDonald fan club members.

Betty MacDonald's letters are the most important documents.

Can you remember the last sentence in Betty MacDonald's The egg and i?

The hen is the boss. I'd say it's the cat.

We are so excited to read new Mr. Tigerli stories.

I asked Stine when it'll be published. Stine told she had some serious problems with the computer.

Be a patient, please. Imagine you were a cat and hunting a mouse........

I'm sure we can read the new Mr. Tigerli story soon.

I mention this because I know how many fans Mr. Tigerli has.

I'm very curious to read more about Mr. Tigerli's  russian girl.

November isn't a problem even if weather is very grey.

Thank you,

Tomasz

Betty MacDonald fan club item

Henrik:

Anita & Eartha Kitt II you are our best Betty MacDonald fan club research team.

We love our two cats and dogs.

We have no dog like Betty MacDonald's Tudor but our cats are a bit like Eartha and Mr. Tigerli.

We know your new Betty MacDonald fan club item will be outstanding.

It'll be a wonderful surprise learning more about Mr. Tigerli's new activities.

Are there any news of the russian girl?

Have a nice November Sunday with your darling pets,

Henrik

Betty MacDonald's cats

Anita & Eartha Kitt II:

We hope you'll enjoy our next Betty MacDonald fan club story about Betty MacDonald and her cats.

Petronella, Eartha and I are looking forward to read your story about Christmas with Betty MacDonald and her family.

Do you think it's true? I do!
Dictators like dogs, artists prefer cats.

You can't educate a cat. They educate us.

I know Eartha and Mr. Tigeli agree with me.
Betty MacDonald's dog Tudor won't.

I have a feeling that Eartha is a bit jealous of Mr. Tigerli's russian girl.

Eartha would like to sit with Mr. Tigerli under the Christmas tree.

Eartha gives me a very cold look after writing this sentence.

Excuse me, please Eartha. I won't do it again.

Sunny November greetings,

Anita & Eartha Kitt II

Christmas with Betty MacDonald

Petronella:

Bea and Yaroslav, I'd like to join Betty MacDonald fan club research team.

My mother wrote to Betty MacDonald and her sister Mary Bard Jensen.

As our family loves Christmas as much as Betty MacDonald's family mother wanted to know everything about Christmas celebration in the Bard family.

We adore Alison Bard Burnett's delightful Christmas stories in her interviews with Wolfgang Hampel.
Sister Dede sounds wonderful in Alison Bard Burnett's memories.

Mother got several very insideful letters and photos  from Betty and Mary.

You'll see very huge Christmas trees, family members, decoration, gifts and much more.

Don't laugh about me, please.

I know I shouldn't talk so much about Christmas in November but you can read some golden Christmas stories in Betty MacDonald fan club newsletter December.

I wonder what sort of Christmas dear Mr. Tigerli is going to celebrate?
Will Mr. Tigerli sit with his russian girl under the Christmas tree?

Anyway - have a good time,

Petronella

Betty MacDonald fan club newsletter December includes my Betty MacDonald essay with all these info.

My family, friends and I are devoted Betty MacDonald, Mary Bard Jensen, Alison Bard Burnett, Wolfgang Hampel and Mr. Tigerli fans.

Hoping Mr. Tigerli takes care for his russian girl.

Viola let's sail away to find new treasures every day.

As Barack Obama says: Yes we can and we will!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Having no problems with grey November,

Yaroslav

Betty MacDonald's magical days

Viola.

Pascal, this Betty MacDonald letter is very important for our future research.

Thank you.

Katrine, these lines describing childhood are very poetic and true.

As adults we should do the same:

                          Let's sail away
to find new treasures every day.

This is the motto of our big family.

My sisters and I are writing funny plays and every family member has a role.

We have lots of fun doing this.

Betty MacDonald liked every day life and did the very same.

I'm convinced this is the secret of having a very joyful and exciting life.

Although some rather negative bores won't believe it: There is always something new under the sun after all those years and it's such a magical moment and happy feeling to find it.

I know Betty MacDonald fan club honor member Mr. Tigerli and his russian girl had some every exciting adventures in the meantime.

Come on Mr. Tigerli, share them with us, please.

Looking out of the window it's such a very sunny November day today and I'll work in our garden.

J'aime la vie.

Take care and enjoy yourself,

Viola

Betty MacDonald's famous dog Tudor

Bea:

Pascal, thank you for your contribution.

Reading this special Betty MacDonald letter about her favourite authors and books will be fascinating as always.

Our Betty MacDonald fan club research team with Frank, Doris, Maria, Robert and me is working on Betty MacDonald's life in photos.

You can see some of Betty MacDonald's, Mary Bard Jensen's and Alison Bard Burnett's family members for the very first time, even beloved grandmother Gammy and Betty MacDonald's famous dog Tudor.

I'm laughing all the time while reading Wolfgang Hampel's very witty poems.
It makes my day although I'm still a bit tired and I dislike old grey November.

You have to know I'm what Betty MacDonald described as morning hater.

My love to Betty MacDonald fan club fans, Wolfgang Hampel, Mr. Tigerli and his russian girl,

Bea

Betty MacDonald's favourite books

Pascal:

I'll share a letter by Betty MacDonald.

Betty MacDonald tells about her favourite authors and books  in this letter.

Katrine, the author you mentioned is Karel Capek.

Karel Capek is one of my favourite writers.

When will Mr. Tigerli share his new adventures?

Have a very nice November with your favourite authors and  books for example by Betty MacDonald and Karel Capek,

Pascal

Betty MacDonald gift in November

Antoni:

Dear Katrine, Betty MacDonald fan club fans, old and new ones,

We got an update.

Betty MacDonald fan club honor member Mary Holmes finished the translation of  new very exciting and funny experienes of our world famous Mr. Tigerli.

Thank you so much dear Letizia Mancino, Mary Holmes and Mr. Tigerli for sharing this Betty MacDonald fan club gift.

Mr. Tigerli has so many fans all over the world. One could be jealous but we are not because everybody  adores him.
Betty MacDonald fan club fans want to know everything about Mr. Tigerli, even if he is a Democrat or a Republican.

Boy oh Boy I'm so curious what Mr. Tigerli has to say. Is he happy with Barack Obama's great victory?

I am and most of us are.

Katrine, I'm very sorry but I don't know the author you mentioned in your posting.

It sounds very poetic but true.

In our childhood we are sailing away every day to find new treasures.

Sounds a bit like Mr. Piggle-Wiggle, husband of Betty MacDonald's Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle.
Perhaps we should ask Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle for a cure against very grey, old, cold and rainy November?

We don't have to ask her because as Betty MacDonald fans you won't have any boring times even in November.

Katrine, I'd die to know who is this terrible bore? I'm afraid this bore won't ever find any treasures.

There are so many reasons to be happy and to laugh every day.

I was in a bad mood today but after reading some of Wolfgang Hampel's satirical firework I couldn't stop laughing.

The same miracle always happens while listening to Wolfgang Hampel and Betty MacDonald's beloved sister Alison Bard Burnett. Both are too funny.

You can see golden sunshine even on a very grey, old, cold and rainy November day.

Wishing you a very cozy home instead of staying on a chicken ranch in the mountains,

Antoni

Betty MacDonald's treasures

Katrine:

Olexander, I love this great ABBA song  THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL.

It perfectly fits to Barack Obama's great victory.

I posted  Betty MacDonald's treasures on Betty MacDonald fan club blog.

http://bettymacdonaldfanclub.blogspot.com/

I hope you'll enjoy it.

We are the Mike Gordon research team and you'll be able to  read several  letters by Betty MacDonald's friend Mike Gordon.

We have very active Betty MacDonald fan club honor members.

Mr. Tigerli, you are a bit slowly at the current time although I have to say I'll be patient because I'm convinced I'll enjoy the new  story very much.

Thank you darling!

Katrine

Betty MacDonald's letters and Wolfgang Hampel's poems

Olexander:

I guess Betty MacDonald would like Barack Obama's re-election very much.

I remember this beautiful Abba song: The winner takes it all.

Dear Pieter, Olof is talking about 2012.

Betty MacDonald's The egg and i is the most popular book in this country.

No chance for Harry Potter!

Pieter, in case you don't find the answer you might ask our dear Betty MacDonald fan club member Mr. Tigerli.

Mr. Tigerli and his russian girl will support you.

Betty MacDonald's letters are as excellent as her books.

Our other favourites are Wolfgang Hampel's adorable poems.

Reading Betty MacDonald's very funny letters and Wolfgang Hampel's very witty poems you have golden laughter all the time.

Thank you so much for this gift, guys.

Olexander

Betty MacDonald's The Egg and I Nr. 1 in history

Pieter:

Karlis, I just heard that Barack Obama is also the winner in Florida.

We are very glad about Barack Obama's outstanding result.

I'm very happy to learn that Betty MacDonald supported the Democrats.

Reading Betty MacDonald's letters describing her political statements is fascinating.

I adore this lady. Betty MacDonald's books  aren't dated and so are her letters.

Betty MacDonald is popular all over the world but I have a problem with Olof's question.

Olof mentioned Betty MacDonald's The Egg and I is the most popular book ever in a country.

About which time frame is Olof talking about?

Olof and Betty MacDonald fan club fans thank you for your information.

When will be the new Mr. Tigerli essays available?

Perhaps Mr. Tigerli and his russian girl can help me to find the answer.

Pieter

Betty MacDonald's political statements

Karlis:

Malte, Frida we are happy indeed.

Barack Obama deserves four more years.

Frida, Lisa, we know your Betty MacDonald story will be very interesting.

The political debates in the Bard family are the opposite of boring.

I'm not surprised at all that Betty MacDonald supported the Democrates but was she really the only one in the Bard family? To me this is amazing.

Thinking of Mr. Tigerli I ask myself: Is he a Democrat or Republican?

What does the russian girl think?

I know our very bright Betty MacDonald fan club honor member Mr. Tigerli will give us an answer.

Excuse me, please.

I have so many questions because I'm very curious to know.........................

Have a happy day,

Karlis

Betty MacDonald supported Democratic Party

Frida:

Malte, very good news that Barack Obama has been re-elected.

I agree Betty MacDonald would have been delighted.

Researching Betty MacDonald's letters it seems Betty MacDonald was the only supporter of the Democratic Party in the Bard family.

I'm working with Lisa on a report about this.

I heard we can read some new stories of beloved Mr. Tigerli very soon.

That's very good to hear.

Frida

Malte:

My family and friends are very glad.

Barack Obama has been re-elected.

Betty MacDonald would be very happy.

We can read in several Betty MacDonald letters she supported the Democratic Party.

A good day for America and the world,

Malte

Betty MacDonald most popular writer

Olof:

Nora thank you very much for sharing this link.

Bring back Betty MacDonald is very well written but in fact we don't have to bring back Betty MacDonald.

Betty MacDonald is very popular in many countries.

Betty MacDonald is extremely successful in a country.
THE EGG AND I is the most popular book ever in this country although there are so many Harry Potter books.

You can believe it. It's true.

Do you know about which country I'm talking about?

If you know the answer send a mail to my account, please and you'll receive a special Betty MacDonald fan club surprise.

( see Betty MacDonald fan club Newsletter November, Page 1 )

The answer isn't too difficult. I'm sure our very clever Mr. Tigerli knows the answer.
Hopefully Mr. Tigerli's new very exciting experiences will come soon.

We'd need some sunshine in our hearts because of very grey November.

Good luck, dear Betty MacDonald fan club fans.

Looking forward to hear from you,

Olof

Betty MacDonald letter

Angie:

Nora, I enjoyed reading Bring back Betty MacDonald.

Thank you so much for the link.

I'll share a letter written by Betty MacDonald for Betty MacDonald letter collection.

The weather is rainy and cold.

I can imagine Betty MacDonald's feelings on the chicken ranch during November.

How is Mr.Tigerli doing during the dark season?

Betty MacDonald letter about Robert Eugene Heskett

Nele:

Jacoba, you can read a Betty MacDonald letter describing the difficulties of the marriage with Robert Eugene  Heskett in Betty MacDonald fan club newsletter November.

Thank you so much for your contributions.

It'll be great to read international reviews of Betty MacDonald's and Mary Bard Jensen's books.

I'm rereading Betty MacDonald's The Egg and I and the weather perfectly fits in the depressing November scene.

November in the woods on a chicken farm? Never! I would have left within a minute.

I'm sitting in the living room without a big fire but with Betty MacDonald's The Egg and I in my hand.

Wishing you, Mr. Tigerli and his russian girl a very nice Sunday,

Nele

Reviews of Betty MacDonald's and Mary Bard Jensen's books

Jacoba:

Marie, thank you so much for your very warm welcome and kind advice.

I didn't know that Betty MacDonald's marriage with Robert Eugene Heskett was so difficult and complicated.

Your mentioned blog review of The Egg and I and Linde Lund's comments are very interesting.

I can understand the reason why Betty MacDonald left Robert Eugene Heskett in 1931 and never mentioned him again.

I'll contribute a collection of international reviews of Betty MacDonald's and Mary Bard Jensen's books.
I hope they will make an interesting read.

I appreciate your great work.

I don't like Mondays and November.

My love to Betty MacDonald fan club members and Mr. Tigerli,

Jacoba

Betty MacDonald's marriage with Robert Eugene Heskett

Marie:

Dearest Jacoba welcome to Betty MacDonald fan club.

You mentioned that readers today have problems with the way Betty MacDonald described the indians in The egg and I.

That's a very serious and important subject.

For more info read this blog, please

Christmas 1927 - Betty MacDonald

www.semicolonblog.com/?p=16204

It's a very interesting review.

Don't miss Linde Lund's comments, please.

November wasn't Betty MacDonald's favourite month.

I agree. I don't like it when the sky is grey. It's raining all the time and there are no blooming flowers and singing birds.

Because of this I wish you a very cozy home with a big fire in the living room and a  good book to read.

I hope very cute Betty MacDonald fan club member Mr. Tigerli enjoyes a very cozy home with a big fire and not to forget his russian girl....................

Mr. Tigerli deserves the best.

Marie
